The extWARN Emergency Alert Software for Intranets is a browser-based solution that makes broadcasting alerts and warnings to office employees and/or campus personnel fast, easy, and accurate. extWARN enables you to rapidly broadcast Emergency Alerts and Warnings directly to network users via blazing-fast UDP technology. With extWARN you can easily and readily: Broadcast Emergency Alerts to Network Users! Deliver Alerts and Warnings Fast via UDP! Provide for Rapid User Response or Confirmation! Utilize Both Audio and Video to Get User's Attention! extWARN uses a web-based Administration Console which provides for management of all broadcast warnings/targets as well as for transmission of all emergency alert broadcasts to users via UDP. extWARN also uses a Client Module that is loaded into PC's at Windows(R) startup or when users log into the network. This client program monitors a defined UDP port for receipt of extWARN alerts/warnings and automatically invokes a built-in client web browser to display the transmitted information. Each extWARN warning message can be a web page, image, or any content which is compatible with user web browsers. Each extWARN broadcast target consists of a min/max IP address range which can accommodate up to an entire Class B (eg, 192.168.x.x) address block (depending on license size), plus five IP address inclusions/exclusions.	extwarn emergency alert software system 3.11
